Full Calendar in Fall, or Rolling Pennies in December?

We've spent all week on giving with purpose. Monday, the business card graveyard and why your connections keep dying in a drawer. Wednesday, the three tests that turn a give into an Intentional Give and a stranger into a referral partner...and now today the CTA.

By now you have the whole thing: the problem has been named. The framework has been laid out. I happily gave it all away, because the Connector Blueprint is free and always will be.

I know that if you are smart enough to read this blog, then knowing how to build your referral networking skills is not the problem. It never was.

You've run a business for years and the Intentional Give isn't complicated. You could probably recite the three tests back to me right now: Meets their pain. Runs on what you enjoy. Scales and repeats. It's simple, which is the point of it.

Therefore, the only thing standing between you and a pipeline full of referral partners is not information, it's whether you'll actually sit down and build the thing.

And this is where the line gets drawn in the sand. Some of you are going to close this tab and keep doing exactly what you've been doing. You'll keep meeting people, keep trading cards, keep feeling good on the drive home and hearing nothing after. Billy's systems are all well and good, but I know what works for me, right?

So I want to focus on the few of you who won't. A few of you are going to take one of your skills, run it through the three tests, and start showing up with something that actually works. And in six months you'll have a handful of real partners sending you business on repeat.

The difference between those two groups isn't talent, it isn't knowledge, you all have the same information now. The difference is who acts on it and who files it away as a nice idea.

I'll be honest about where this goes, the people who build their give are the ones with a full calendar next fall. The people who don't are the ones rolling pennies to cover the electric bill in December, wondering why the phone stopped ringing. That's not a scare tactic, that's me reflecting back on my business past.

So which group are you in? You don't answer that with a comment. You answer it with what you do next.

And the guide is free at www.ReferralBlueprint.com because I want you to build your business through building your community.
