Giving with Intention

Get Started Monday:

Weekly Theme: The cornerstone of the Live Local Marketing program is Giving with Intention. Having the right system in place that you can make an impact on both your community and your business.

Marketing Momentum Tip: We are shifting your mindset about marketing; it is not about likes, paid ads, or going viral. It is about Giving - NOT randomly, but with the Live Local Marketing system behind you for growth.

Accountability Check-In: Look at your weekly planner, what actions do you need to take today and tomorrow to be on track for the Wednesday accountability blog?

The Blog:

There is a common theme I notice every time I talk to a business owner. Everyone wants more clients, but most people avoid the one strategy that always works. Being useful. Being present. Being intentional with how you give.

We get so wrapped up in “growth hacks” and “ten best marketing tips of 2025” that we forget the simple truth that people buy from people they like. People like the ones who show up with purpose.

Giving with intention is not about dropping flyers everywhere or tossing your business card around like confetti at a toddler birthday party, or playing the numbers game. It is about looking around your community and asking a real question. Who can I help today in a way that actually matters to them?

That is the entire foundation of Live Local Marketing. You build a business by building relationships and you build relationships by doing things that make people feel seen.

Intentional giving is not random. It is not charity for charity’s sake. It is strategic kindness. You choose who you want to serve, align with others of similar values, and you give value where they have needs. That is when giving becomes powerful. The warm marketing magic kicks in and people remember you because you connected to their story, not because you shoved a sales pitch into their inbox.

During this week, the Thanksgiving Season, we need to embrace the mindset shift that Giving just for the sake of giving will work on it's own. We need systems in place to be effective, to truly help others, and make an impact on our community.

Take some time this week and reflect: what are your strengths, what skills do you have that could be utilized as we focus on Giving with intention.
